What is Positive Radio News (PRN)?

PRN is radio news customized and delivered in a package with your local station elements, offering a large market sound. It’s news designed for your core demo. You customize it exactly as you want it.

What We Do

PRN delivers your news. Your radio market is researched to ensure local news as it pertains to your target demo. News will be customized exactly as you like it, providing what the major news radio networks cannot...national and local news in the same newscast. PRN delivers your news completely packaged giving you the ability to add a local customized Open/Close… local ad sales sponsorships and/or underwriting. You avoid having to play a national news source and then having to play a local newscast.

How It's Done

At PRN, newscasts are written, produced, and delivered completely packaged in your preferred length. A customized newscast is created perfect for your target demo through your local news sources (TV and newspaper websites) through MP3 or FTP. Contacts in many markets nationwide are also used for local and regional news sources. All content is re-written avoiding any copyright issues and sent via local emails and FTP. Your news is guaranteed to be there daily.

Who is this for?

PRN is not designed for all stations. It is focused on small to medium market stations that are more music intense. If you are focused on driving the ratings with a small/medium staff and tight budget, then PRN is a prefect match.

Advantages

Radio is changing and stations trying to survive have had to cut costs and staff positions. PRN was founded as a way to sound like a large market radio station…and, at a fraction of the cost. PRN offers a great alternative to hiring staff. It is simply an outsourced News Director. Let's face it, technology affords smart Managers the ability to be successful in their markets by downsizing and sounding BIG! Many great sounding stations are using voice and news tracking to save on the bottom line. It works...voice tracked news is here!
